A New Approach to

Fertility Support

Our approach:
Supporting reproductive health at the cellular level

The path to parenthood is rarely a straight line. At Origins, we support fertility for all genders by addressing the whole personβ€” because we know that inflammation anywhere in the body impacts someone's ability to conceive.

Our approach includes five complementary therapies, each addressing a different layer of reproductive health based on the patient's needs.

WE’RE HERE FOR YOU.

Our fertility therapies include:

Intrauterine Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

Regenerative therapy using your body's own healing factors to optimize the uterine environment and support implantation.

Acupuncture

Hormone regulation, improved pelvic circulation and stress support β€” tailored for IVF, IUI and natural cycle protocols.

IUI β€” Frozen Intrauterine Insemination

Offered for individuals and couples using frozen sperm to conceive, with inclusive LGBTQ+ affirming care.

Maya Abdominal Massage & Craniosacral therapy

Gentle hands-on bodywork to improve circulation and release restrictions affecting ovarian, uterine, and gastrointestinal health.

Naturopathic Medicine

Root-cause care including fertility and reproductive health education, lab analysis, semen analysis, targeted supplementation and medications when appropriate, and cycle optimization.

Intrauterine PRP:
Your body's own healing power

Dr. Laura Clevenger was one of the first providers to bring Intrauterine PRP to Oregon. She has performed numerous procedures supporting patients with thin uterine lining, recurrent implantation failure and complex reproductive conditions.

What is PRP?

A blood sample is drawn, spun in a centrifuge and concentrated into platelet-rich plasma β€” containing 10 to 20 times the platelet concentration of whole blood. This is then introduced directly into the uterine cavity through a thin catheter. At Origins, all PRP is processed using an FDA-approved device with only fresh β€” never frozen β€” plasma.

PRP contains over 1,100 proteins and key growth factors β€” stimulating endometrial growth, promoting new blood vessel formation and creating the biological conditions necessary for successful implantation.

PRP frequently asked questions

Can’t find the answer your looking for?
Contact us.

Is the procedure painful?

Most patients experience mild cramping, similar to period cramps or a pap smear.

When in my cycle is PRP performed?

We time the procedure differently based on the condition and the reason for performing the intrauterine PRP. We will decide the timing based on what is best for your body.

How many treatments will I need?

Some protocols involve a single infusion per cycle. Others may recommend two infusions in one cycle or one infusion across multiple cycles depending on your individual clinical picture. Dr. Clevenger will discuss the right protocol for you at your consultation.

What should I expect afterwards?

You may experience mild spotting, cramping and clear/yellow discharge following the procedure. Avoid ibuprofen and NSAIDs for 7 days before and after. Eat beforehand and stay well hydrated for the blood draw.

Are there any risks?

There is a rare risk of infection with any intrauterine procedure and the procedure may not be effective for every patient. Dr. Clevenger will review all risks and alternatives with you during your consultation.

Is it covered by insurance?

Intrauterine PRP is not covered by insurance. HSA and FSA payments are accepted.

Can PRP be used alongside IUI or natural cycles?

Yes. While most published research focuses on embryo transfer cycles, we believe PRP can also benefit patients trying naturally or utilizing IUI. Dr. Clevenger will help you determine the best protocol for your situation.

What does the research say?

June 2025 β€” A comprehensive review found intrauterine PRP may enhance endometrial thickness and improve implantation and pregnancy rates in women with refractory thin endometrium.

March 2025 β€” A network meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials found PRP was the most effective treatment for recurrent implantation failure among all interventions studied.
